Exactly what I needed!
I have a HP personal media drive and wanted a storage case for it, and this was just what I needed. HP sells a case but I liked the design of this better (and it is cheaper on Amazon). I had a tough time finding a case that fit as the HP drive is a bit longer than most, and after surfing the various sites selling this, I found that the dimensions advertised were either wrong or missing. The case appears to be well constructed, but does not offer a lot of padding, so it may not do much in protecting a disk if it was dropped. The two ends are hard and the center section is semi-hard. It is lined with a felt-like substance over thin padding. It does offer enough storage to accommodate the drive, USB cable, and AC adapter with the AC cords (with a bit more room to spare).

For the price and what I'll be using it for,, I'm pleased with the purchase. If you are looking for something with drop-proof padding, don't buy this.

Good case
I bought this case for my Iomega 500 GB hard drive (34270). It fits my hard drive, the stand, usb cable, and ac adapter in the main compartment. I also have space for my ipod cable and ac adapter and a compact flash card reader in the other smaller compartment. Works great. It's does not have a lot of extra padding, but if you don't plan on throwing it around on pavement or something like that, you should be fine.
