Very good camera
This is my first webcam, I bought it to use with Skype.
Pros:
1. Quite a sensitive microphone (even when I spoke quietly, the other party could hear me, although maybe Windows Vista sound settings helped)
2. It adjusts to the lighting, even if the light is not very good, color distortion is not too big.
3. Can be positioned easily on top of an LCD monitor
4. Turns and swivels in any direction
Cons:
1. Manual focus
2. Face tracking tends to zoom in and out even if you don't move (not a big con since I don't use it).
3. Packaging is not very environmentally friendly as the small camera comes in a large box with a lot of extra cardboard padding.
My Review
The Camera works good for a webcam at home or office. You can even use it for security
Not so impressed...
I have used this webcam about four times and each time, there have been glitches, the picture is fuzzy, etc. I think part of this may be due to the internet connection, but I think the camera is partially to blame. If I had this to do over, I would probably buy a nicer model.
